How do I receive psychic messages?
I can tell you that this work begins in imagination and feeling. It is a universe of strangeness, but this strangeness has revealed itself to have a purpose.
The way that I receive messages is through my intuition. Have you ever thought about what intuition is? There are many ways to conceptualize it, but a helpful thing to think about is how we are all composed of energy. Energy is us, we are it. Energy is often invisible, depending on the type. This is a gross oversimplification, but this is also just a blog.
In this case, it’s as though you exists yes, materially, but also immaterially. What I mean is: subconsciously, supraconsciously, outside the boundaries of time and space as we know it. You learn to expand your consciousness beyond your own body into the unknown. There are many well-documented cases of ‘psychic’ energy and how it works to gather information and messages, confirmations and synchronicities. You may think ‘those are all scams’ and while there may be some, that is not what is happening most of the time. It is certainly ‘sensible’ to have doubt alongside your curiosity. But let me tell you about these other senses, too.
With practice, you too could ‘tap into’ your clairvoyance (sight), clairaudience (hearing), clairsentience (feeling), claircognizance (knowing), clairalience (smell) and clairgustance (taste). At first, they feel like echoes of your actual senses. In time, they grow and change, but even still and often, the messages carried forth live in your imagination. I use all of the senses, with sight and knowing being the most valuable in sessions, generally, although all of them give depth, weight, color and voice to what comes through. It is only through evidence confirmed by the client or receiver, that the logical mind confirms that something ‘true’ is happening. Evidence like this is important to me, but it isn’t the only thing I seek when reaching out to the universe for information.
I both want to provide messages and information that resonate deeply and ‘prove’ that the work is real, but I also remain open to sending messages that may not satisfy our human need for logic right away. Your spiritual guides are much smarter than both of us.
These guides or ‘spirit team’ watch over us, and include our primary spiritual guide(s) & mentors, ancestors, chosen soul family as well as energies which have taken many names in history.
Although it is hard, do not be too distracted by the terms you hear in spiritual communities or in this text today. Language is a tool, a gift, a creator. Energies take ‘shape’ through our imagination, symbology, and through the many tapestries of expression, beauty, communication etc we’ve developed over millennia. Energy transfers through music, through dance, through touch. These things make you feel for reasons that are sometimes ineffable. That is where energy lives.
How beautiful it is that our imagination can create visions and stories across cultures, across millennia, which then help people embrace our ability to transcend mere material existence.
This spiritual team is present with us throughout time, which they do not experience as we do. They have seen us, known us, and wish us well. They are often responsible for the messages I impart, as well as your own inner wisdom which reveals itself to me. The energies I connect to are expansive, have profound goodness, and present unconditional love. Try not to let fear of the unknown further separate you from your intuition. For many intuitive healers, psychics, witches etc…we create protection in the process of working with others, and there is much more love to tap into than the dark energies which you have been taught to fear.
While there is much to fear in our human existence, there is also nothing to fear at all. I am not discounting reality which tinges our lives with hardship. I am simply asking you to step into another reality for a moment, and consider a place where fear no longer lives within you. I am learning this as I speak it.
