“I wish I had better intuition but…”

Perhaps you’re someone who thinks: “I wish I had better intuition but…” any number of follow ups to that question arise. Such as: But I’m too stressed and tired to trust my intuition. How the heck could I spend time on my intuition when I have to work so hard? Or perhaps the ”Love and Light” messaging of some places talking about intuition feels like spiritual bypassing. You aren’t alone there buster!

Intuition itself has many definitions, but the ones I’m working in a forthcoming digital guide called INTUITION IS POWER are:
Intuition is an inner knowing...

a felt sense of truth and reality

the ability or power of attaining knowledge

understanding without rational thought or inference

The common themes here are that intuition is based in our sensory experience, and also something that comes to us without conscious understanding or reason. You know those coincidences that make no sense to you? Well, perhaps they’re a clue to how the universe works that we haven’t given enough credence to yet. Perhaps there are fields of energy (a biofield) around us that we can attune to. Chinese medicine, contemplative lineages, and martial arts have long known about and passed down practices to engage with our energy, which surrounds and goes through our bodies. Many indigenous spiritual cultures incorporate intuition into their daily life.

For folks who are experiencing intuitive nudges and don’t know what to do from here. I am releasing an ebook called Intuition is Power. It is a FREE starter kit for developing intuition for personal and collective empowerment. I am a little sick and tired of the frameworks around intuition I’m seeing in the world. They do not sufficiently account for how fucked up our human systems are. They jump from one meditation into the stratosphere of light and ignore all the racism that’s every happened. Could we really heal the world this way? Could the answer to our spiritual decrepitude be for only certain people having access to spiritual secrets that were stolen and wiped out and then repackaged? That feels intuitively unjust. Perhaps we need our consciousness to evolve to ground deeper into our human errors in order to meet the shame, fear, pain, and suffering that permeates so many realities. Perhaps we need a little justice and research alongside the love and light?

As I strive to understand how consciousness can be at both the root of the universe and the root of our liberation, follow along and decide for yourself what meaning to make.

Many people who are adrift in this capitalist hellscape need accessible ways to continue their self knowing journeys. It is entirely possible for you to transform your relationship to your inner knowing through intuitive, creative and healing practices. This doesn’t replace allopathic medicine and healing, but if you begin this world you may encounter things that could surely rock you to pieces. So it’s better to stay grounded and keep that therapist on retainer.
